We decided to go there again today and I'm very glad we did so I only feel it fair to update my initial review. Everything went smoothly without issue and food was excellent. The manager even popped over to see how everything was. I love the perfect combination of spices and the fact that I can get spicy shrimp on my rice bowl instead of just your standard meat options is certainly a big plus for me since I'm wanting protein without high calories and fat. Top it all off, I didn't realize it was kids day until I seen the sign at the register and when they rang me up it was a mere $10.50 for both my two kids and I! I had expected to pay full price for at least one of the kids meals so that was a very nice surprise. I literally found myself asking the worker if he rang everything. I mean where else can you get a giant yummy shrimp rice bowl AND two kids meals for $10? I still wish there was an option for a kid sized burrito or mini phillie since my youngest won't touch the contents of a burrito unless it's all tucked neatly inside a tortilla or bun. Regardless, that's not going to be a make or break it for us, as I love the shrimp and their rice and can just order the tortilla separately. The worker even offered to come back to the table and wrap it for us! I think we'll be regulars after all :)

Very good addition to the area! I went here today with two of my older girls and my two youngest kids! Both my daughter and I had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and fries. My other daughter had a steak rice bowl and my two youngest had the chicken strip basket. The Philly cheesesteak was awesome! The bun was warmed but not hardened. There was no shortage of beef, mushrooms, onions or cheese. Flavors were fantastic! Definitely messy and I don't recommend on a date if you are trying to be proper! Ha! The fries were also a huge hit with everyone! My daughters rice bowl must have been good, it was gone in about five minutes. I tried the chicken strips and they were good as well. Their kids meals come with a choice of oranges or fries which i liked! The sauces are at a bar by the pop dispensers. There is a great variety of ketchup, ranch, spicy ranch, dressings, au jus, horseradish, etc Definitely a must try place! Also definitely come right away when we left at 12 there was quite a line! We will be back!

I wanted to really like this place, i am always looking for new and better eating experiences in St. Cloud. The food is solid, but not exceptional. It's not the best Philly I've ever had. The fries were real cut potato, but average tasting. The idea of a sauce bar is great, but I felt the choices were limited. It is noisy in there, but other than that I felt the set up is similar to Subway. Even how you you order is similar: with one person starting your sandwich and then others take over as you progress down the line. While we did Philly's this time, my husband is interesting in trying the burrito ( which was very large ) next time. So, in all a nice change keeping away from the greasy fast food made in microwaves, but nothing extraordinary.

Tried PepperJax Grill today for the first time, based on Danielle L.'s recommendation. I got there early so there was no wait time, but business has been brisk since they opened in St. Cloud. There was a line shortly after I arrived, and it remained until I left. I tried the PepperJax Philly Cheesesteak with onions, green peppers, cheese and mushrooms. It was yummy! The warmed bread that these are served on is light and delicious. The mixture of flavors was great. I ordered fries on the side and they were delicious, too. The restaurant has a sauce bar, so you can dress up your sandwich with may, ketchup, a variety of barbecue sauces, gravy, chili sauce, asian sauce, and more. I tried a variety, but would recommend the mushroom gravy and the au jus. One note: After picking up my sandwich, I noticed that some of the meat was still pink. When I pointed this out to the cashier, she told me that the meat keeps cooking for five minutes after it's taken from the grill. When I sat down to eat my sandwich, it was still pink. Maybe it continued cooking, maybe it didn't. The flavor of the sandwich was great. I simply share that for other customers who might be worried when they look at their sandwich. I highly recommend PepperJax and know that I'll be back.

Pleasantly surprised with this place. It's like a combination between a Chipotle and a Pita Pit. They cook the meat on the grill in front of you, and then you can choose your toppings. I had a steak bowl, and it exceeded my expectations in flavor and quality. My husband had the Philly, which is what they're famous for. He said it was really good.

Excellent cheese steaks. I've drove by this place a hundred times before finally stopping in and trying it. Oh, I feel like an idiot for waiting so long. Pepper Jax is excellent! Now I'll get started. When you come in you order at the counter. They grill your food up for you right in front of you while you wait. It only takes a minute or two. The sandwich is so good, you can choose what you want on it and they have a fireball option if you like your cheese steak spicy. I think they just add jalapenos and cook your meat in the jalapeno sauce. It's not overwhelming hot but adds just a little heat. I order mine with queso added. Makes it a little more messy but extra good. There fries are also excellent and one order is plenty for two people. I doubt I'll eat anywhere else for a while. This is an awesome place to have in St. Cloud. This review doesn't even do it justice. The atmosphere is cool, restaurant is clean and the workers were pretty nice. I'll be back and highly recommend this restaurant.

Possibly the best Philly Cheese Steak I ever had, the line was super long, but it was worth the wait.

Only missing a star because of the wait time and odd team chants. The food was really good. My husband and I shared the signature Philly sandwich. We had it with everything on it besides jalapeños. You can get queso added for a bit more ( which we did ) it was awesome. The buns are fresh and delicious and toasted in this cool slide of sorts. You can also get your Philly cooked in jalapeño juice if you want an extra kick. We had the fries with our meal ( sides and drinks are separate) and they were really good too. The signature sauces are also very good tried them all. Best combos with the sandwich are the gravy and au jus. Atmosphere was nice. But these odd cheers and chants they did were off the wall and took away from our dining experience. They have something called the "streaker" I think that's a sandwich with just meat and nothibf else but who knows. I definitely recommend this place. The pic speaks for itself.

Best cheesesteak...not so sure but tasty nevertheless. Chips and queso were good and not too spicy. Awkward trying to order for the first time...still glad I went.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
